Position Details:

• Location: Children's Academy of Education and Learning, 1800 S. Greenwood Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37404
• Pay: Starts at $13/hour with a High School diploma and no prior child care experience; from $15/hour with at least a CDA. Rates increase with education and experience, up to $20/hour.

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a fingerprint background check.
• Experience in Early Childhood Education, specifically in a PreK classroom.

Responsibilities:

• Stay engaged and supervise children in your care, ensuring safety and promoting active participation in all activities.
• Plan and lead activities that support children’s development in social, emotional, physical, and cognitive areas.
• Maintain an organized and supportive classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with staff, parents, and volunteers.
• Be attentive to the health and well-being of children, responding to their needs as appropriate.
