Help Young Children Learn and Grow — Join Our Team!

Do you enjoy working with young children and helping them learn new things? We’re looking for a full-time teacher to join our Runabouts classroom, where you’ll work with 3-year-olds as they get ready for PreK and Kindergarten. At Chambliss Center for Children, we’re a nonprofit that helps working families with lower incomes. You’ll be part of a caring team that supports early learning and makes sure every child feels safe, welcome, and ready to succeed.

What You Get:

• Pay starts at $11/hour with a high school diploma and little experience.
• Earn more with a CDA, Associate’s Degree, or more experience — up to $15/hour or higher!
• Work Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm.

What You’ll Do:

• Keep young children safe and engaged during play, learning, and daily routines.
• Lead fun activities that help children grow in how they think, move, and get along with others.
• Keep the classroom clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Work closely with other teachers, parents, and volunteers.
• Watch for health needs and help children as needed.

What You Need:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Be able to pass a fingerprint background check.
• Experience working with children in a classroom is a big plus!
