Description

Do you enjoy helping young children learn, grow, and discover the world around them? Chambliss Center for Children's Red Bank Center is looking for a dependable, caring, and enthusiastic teacher to join our toddler team and work with children who are 2 years old. This is a great opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children and families while making a positive impact every day. This is a full-time position.

What You'll Do

  • Create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children ages 2 to 3
  • Plan and implement activities that encourage learning through play
  • Support children's social, emotional, language, and physical development
  • Guide children using positive behavior support techniques
  • Maintain active supervision at all times to ensure children's safety
  • Follow state licensing standards and center policies
  • Keep the classroom organized, clean, and welcoming
  • Build positive relationships with families and communicate regularly about children's progress
  • Work closely with co-teachers and center leadership to create a successful classroom experience

Qualifications

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Be able to successfully complete a fingerprint-based background check
  • Have experience caring for or teaching young children in a group setting
  • Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for early childhood education
  • Be able to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, and sit on the floor while interacting with children
  • Be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds
