Position Details:
- Location: Volunteer Community School (part of Chambliss Center for Children), 506 Spears Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37405
- Pay: Starts at $11/hour with a High School diploma and no prior child care experience; $13/hour with a CDA. Rates increase with education and experience, up to $19.45/hour.

What We’re Looking For:
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to pass a fingerprint background check.
- Experience in Early Childhood Education strongly preferred.
- A passion for helping children learn and grow.
- Creativity and enthusiasm in planning engaging activities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise classroom activities, ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Foster positive relationships with staff, parents, and children, maintaining open communication and a collaborative spirit.
- Stay alert to children’s needs and act accordingly to ensure their well-being.
- Maintain an organized and positive classroom environment, promoting respect and learning.
