We are seeking dedicated individuals with a passion for children’s education to join our team in an Early Head Start classroom. Early Head Start is year-round and works with children ages infant to 3 years old. As a teacher, you’ll play a key role in fostering the intellectual, emotional, and social growth of our youngest learners. Position Details:

  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Pay: From $13.00 per hour; increasing depending on education and experience.

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) or higher degree in Early Childhood Education is required.
  • Able to pass a fingerprint background check.
  • Prior experience working with children in a classroom setting strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Stay engaged and supervise children in your care, ensuring safety and promoting active participation in all activities.
  • Plan and lead activities that support children’s development in social, emotional, physical, and cognitive areas.
  • Maintain an organized and supportive classroom environment.
  • Build positive relationships with staff, parents, and volunteers.
  • Be attentive to the health and well-being of children, responding to their needs as appropriate.
  • Perform other work-related duties assigned by the Team Lead, Executive Director, or Associate Director.
