Description
Looking for steady part-time work where you stay active and make a difference in your community? Our Brainerd Thrift Store is hiring a reliable, hardworking team member to help with donations, stocking, and general store support. Must be available weekends.
This is a hands-on, active role—perfect for someone who shows up, works independently, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.
Schedule & Pay:
- Part-time, 25–30 hours per week
- $12/hour
- Must be available to work weekends
- Store hours: Monday–Saturday 10 AM–6 PM, Sunday 1 PM–6 PM
What You’ll Do:
- Accept and unload donations from the community (always with a polite, helpful attitude)
- Lift, carry, and move merchandise throughout the store
- Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Keep the store clean with light janitorial duties
- Support overall store operations as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Reliability—someone we can count on to show up and get the job done
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Friendly and respectful when interacting with donors and customers
- Physically able to stand/walk for a full shift
- Able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable with bending, lifting, pushing/pulling, and staying active throughout the day
